Dear Fam,
So today was P-Day and we played basketball again. It was way fun. Last week we played the distict from Durango and whooped them. I also got an email from Tyler Sax today, so that was pretty awesome. He is actually really close to me (about 50 miles), so that is pretty cool. Something that is not cool is that my watch broke like 2 weeks ago. I thought it was just the battery. I got it changed todayand I realized that, yep my watch is broken. Oh well.
So I had another great week. Tuesday was Zone Conference. It was incredible. It was just like the MTC again. Very spiritually uplifting. It got Elder Fillmore and I really motivated and the next day we set some really lofty goals for teaching that we had never come close to reaching before. But we had faith that we could do it and worked like Crazy and we actually exceeded the goals! It was my favorite day in the mission so far. The next day didn't go so well though. Satan worked really hard to get us down. Our most promising invesitgators who we felt were really close to baptism decided that they didn't want to see us anymore. There reasoning was that our church is for good people, and for good people to get better. That was pretty tough. But we were blessed for our efforts. We tracted into a family called the Sanchez's. They are really nice and the father especially already has a very strong belief of Jesus Christ. In fact when we invited him to church he said he would go and then he was like, "And you know what else Satan is really pissed off (pardon his french) right now. But you know what ? I don't care cuz I'm coming to church!" It was hilarious and awesome. So we are really excited for him. I have been so blessed thus far. I love this church so much, everything about it just makes sense to me and I sometimes wonder why other people don't see what I see in it. I guess that's why I'm out here though. To show people the truth and light that is this gospel. The one and only true church on the earth and the only church that has the same priesthood power that was on the earth during Christ's time. Time flies out here in the mission field and sometimes I wonder where the days and even weeks go. I love it though and I love the awesome people in the area. I really hope that you get to come and meet all the amazing people when I'm done. It would be an amazing experience. But that is a very long way off and I should focus on the here and now.
Well I think that is about it but just know how much I love you all. You are in my prayers every night and I hope that I'm in yours. Keep staying strong in the gospel. I keep seeing how much it has blessed our family and the families of others. Oh man, I love it so much. I am so happy. The church is true. I love you all!!
Your loving son/brother,
Elder Hullinger
