Hey family,

How is everyone doing today? I'm emailing today because yesterday was Martin Luther King Day and the libraries were closed. So to answer your question I am pretty sure that I will not be extending my mission. It very rarely happens that you get an extension. So I should be coming home at my scheduled day. Usually we get sent home on a Wednesday so you can plan on me coming home on the 23 of June. It's not for sure but it's probably about a 95 percent chance that it will be the 23rd. And yes it is so crazy that you are writing about that day.

Since we are kind of on the subject... I got an email from one of my friends who I was supposed to room with at BYU. He was wondering if I'm still planning on rooming with him when we get back. I wrote back and told him that I was probably going to live with you guys when I get back at least for the first semester since I'm pretty much broke. I was wondering what your thoughts were on the subject.

So my week here was pretty good. We're still plugging along. The work here is still really good. I love it in this area. We are teaching some really amazing people. And it's neat to get to be around people who you have baptized. My new companion and I get along fine but... this is going to sound rude... he's just kind of boring. It doesn't really matter that much I guess but yeah... it's just something that I deal with and I try to bring more excitement to the companionship but I guess I'm part of the problem too. Oh well things are great anyways.

I do know that missionary that you wrote me about. I talked to him about California he was excited to meet someone who knew Laguna Niguel. Maybe I'll get to know him better.

I'm sorry to hear that you are still sick mom. That really stinks. I hope that you're fully recovered by next week. Just know that I have been praying for you to get better. In fact I pray for our whole family a lot.
