Email October 19, 2009

Hey Family!,

It's so good to hear from you guys. It sounds like everything is going well there. Things are good here too. I'm really liking this new area, and my new companion is amazing. His name is Elder Boden and he is from Elba Idaho. He's a farm boy who loves hard work. Our first week together was awesome. This area is really doing well. Rio Rancho is a little bit different than my last area. It's a lot less ghetto and the people here seem to have their lives in order a bit more. This is going to be a really good transfer. I'm excited for all the work here. I have a lot of new responsibilities now which aren't really fun but it is good to get to help other missionaries. So yeah, life is really good for me right now.

I'm sorry that the email isn't working like it's supposed to. That kind of stinks. Oh and I don't get to go to the BYU game. I'm way disappointed. We even had an investigator in this area who was going to take us but President Anderson said no. It kinda stinks. But I'll get to see plenty of games when I get home.

It sounds like things are going well at home for the most part. That's too bad that little Coop is so sick. I know that the flu has been really bad around here. We're not supposed to shake hands with people anymore. Weird huh? I want to stay healthy. I was kind of sick the last few days and it was terrible. We still went out and worked but it was a struggle. I'll do my best to stay healthy though.

I was just looking at that picture you sent me and... man it made me miss you guys. Hunter is so Big now. And Cassidy is slimming down. Dad and Holden still look the same to me but I'm sure that they have also changed in some way. I can't wait to play sports with you guys again. I still have 8 months though. It's really not very long at all. I'm 2/3 of the way done. It kind of freaks me out. It doesn't seem like I've been out that long.

Well like I said before things are going really great. My testimony and knowledge of the Gospel grows every day. I love this work. I love and miss you guys but there's no place I'd rather be. Have an awesome week. The Church is true.

Your loving son/brother/friend,
Elder Hullinger
